I thought this would be fine though seeing as how input pins are high impedance.Ĭurrently with the code below the LEDs are HIGH all the time, pushing the switch does nothing. I'm just wondering if I have to rewire it so the switch pulls it to ground? I also have 2.2K resistors on all switches. I'm afraid I wired it incorrectly and the reason it isn't working is because when the switch is open it is floating and that causes a misread. They will turn off the LED's when the button is down and the buttons will turn on when not pushed. 4 of them are connected to 5V on one side (the arduino 5v pin), and connected together and tied to digital pin 8 (labeled bwswitch and bwswled respectively while the other is gswitch and gswled) I'm trying to achieve that when I push the buttons I have 5 arcade style switches with LED's. Very happy with both the Nova System and G-System.I'd wait until after Winter NAMM in case there's a new or improved unit.I've done this before and its worked, I'm not sure why I cannot get it now. Let me know if you have specific questions about either unit, though my GN is packed away in the box until needed. IMO.If you can buy and try a Nova System, that may be a good start.if you have an opportunity to grab a GN, I would do it.you could likely resell it at the same price? The Boost is interesting, as it doesn't really boost the signal, it releases attenuation of the general level.I recommend getting a copy of the manual off their website and reading to see if it will do what you want / and if you would be cool with how it works. ![]() Though fewer effect options, the sound is much richer than the M9 IMO, and each effect has a good set of parameters to tweak. If you only use a few combinations of effects, you can minimize the number of presets, and turn individual effects on/off. Once dialed in, it is much easier for live use. At home, I use it direct to my FRFR system for a simple solution I think it would do as my only direct unit if needed as a backup. You can't change the order of effects, but you can use serial, semi-parallel and parallel processing for the digital effects. There is a learning curve but it makes sense once you "get it" / once the approach clicks. I don't find it sterile, I find it pristine.I guess it depends on your take on digital effects.not warm like the GN that said, it is my main grab n go / all in one unit. I also use the Nova Drive as my main OD / Dist and find the version in the NS limited. I dig the NS enough that it convinced me to get a G-System too. Nova System - had one, sold it, got the m9 (for 9 months) sold the M9, got another NS. I use a MIDIMouse with mine to change presets, but you can't turn individual effects on/off Rich, organic analog tones and tube warmth. I'm keeping mine even though it isn't getting used much, and I'm concerned about them being discontinued. Glass Nexus - easy to use, amazing sounds - I found sounds I would not use, but nothing sounds bad - if that makes sense, it is very easy to dial in and it always sounds great IMO. I own both the GlassNexus and Nova System. Gdziekolwiek pobiegniesz, moesz si odwróci, aby unikn niebezpieczestwa. Everything else is basically there albeit maybe not QUITE as configurable but I don't miss anything when using the Nova over the G-System. G-Switch Serius Games 4.5 112,682 Oceny Zosta mistrzem sterujcym grawitacj i wygraj wycig W grze Gswitch moesz zmieni kierunek przycigania ziemskiego. Lastly while the G-System is easily more flexible on many levels functionality wise, midi wise, pedal loop wise, the FX are basically all the same and the only MAIN things that are missing FX wise in comparison to the Nova are univibe, wah and formant. I found that to be weird at first but it's easily adaptable. ![]() The other mode you have to hold the switch down for a short amount of time which tells the unit that you are wanting to switch presets and not just toggle that effect associated with that switch on/off in which case the preset is then engaged with the release of the switch. On the mode where it's on the press though you lose the ability to turn the FX on the bottom row on/off and those switches just serve as preset switches only. Since I've been using an Eleven Rack live primarily, I use the Nova in the FX loop for all my FX and the amp sims of the Eleven Rack and also the Nova functions as the midi controller to switch presets on the Eleven Rack.Īlso there are 2 modes you can choose from in which to change presets and one is on the release and one is on the press of the switch. I actually bought mine for smaller gigs where I'd just bring a rebel-20 or 30 run clean and use that for FX and distortion and mainly to avoid hauling my G-System rig because the pedalboard is about 70 lbs vs the Nova board which is about 15 MAYBE.
